Hey y’all! I’m Patee (pronounced “Patty”, it’s weird, I know). I like champagne, mexican food, sewing, reading, Florence, Italy, dessert, Harry Potter, my family, Van Morrison, the ocean and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
I’m a wife to my other half, Matthew and mom to our lab-beagle, Bentleigh. We’re both originally from the Ole North State, but we’re currently living a fairytale-esque dream in Mount Pleasant, SC – 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from historic downtown Charleston. We met as young, enthusiastic journalism students at the University of North Carolina, so there will probably be a lot of ‘GO HEELS’ around these parts. You’ll just have to get used to that. I soon lost my enthusiasm for journalism (until recently that is, when I started this blog) but Matt stuck with it. He’s the designated (and well paid, I might add) editor of this little ditty, so you can blame any and all typos, misspellings and down-right erroneous factual statements on him. Thank you.
Cute, right? Anywho – I named this blog after two of the most amazing women I have ever known, my grandmothers Winnie Ryan and Jane Farley. Without a shred of doubt, I am the woman, wife, sister, daughter, friend and follower of Christ because of their guidance and love. I have no idea what you can expect from this little bloggy, but let’s see where she blows, shall we?
